About
Who I am?
Prima Setiawan (1994) was born in Indonesia. He began his love of film when he was in high school (2011). To deepen his film knowledge, he continued his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in the Film and Television Department at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Yogyakarta. Completed his studies in 2020 and continued his career as freelance Production Sound Mixer, Sound Designer and Music Composer under Neighbourhood Indonesia.
Several works of sound processing in documentary and fiction films have succeeded in receiving national and international appreciation, including short fiction Dancing Colours (2022) as the Official Selection at the 2022 Locarno Film Festival and winning the Best Short Story Film at Piala Citra Indonesian Film Festival 2022. For documentary, Dulhaji Dolena (2020) was nominated for best short documentary film at the Piala Citra Indonesian Film Festival 2022.
